How do I become a registered member of Shady Ideas?

To register, click on the 'Register' link on the top right hand side of the page. This will open a window where you fill in basic details, choose a password and click on 'Sign Me Up' button. That's it! You will become a registered member of Shady Ideas.

What are the benefits to registering with Shady Ideas?

  • On registering with Shady Ideas, you immediately get three coupons worth Rs 1,500 in your email inbox to shop on Shady Ideas.
  • These coupons are valid for 3 months and provide the below benefits:
    1. You can avail a discount of Rs. 500/- on purchase of Rs. 2000/- and above.
    2. The coupons mentioned will not be applicable on certain deal items.
  • You can save your favorite products in 'My Wishlist' for easy purchase in future.

Is it safe to use my credit card or provide bank details on Shady Ideas?

We at give maximum priority, not only to your shopping experience but also to your safe and secure shopping. Keeping the same in mind, we have put various levels of protections in place to ensure that our transaction process is extremely safe and that our customers' information is highly secure and non leak able. For higher security does not accept any financial information on its servers. All such information entered by you is directly received by our Banks servers and are then transmitted to your banks servers. What do I do if a coupon issued by Shady Ideas is not working?

Your coupon may not be working because of any of the following reasons:

  • The validity of the coupon may have expired.
  • The coupon may have already been used.
  • The coupon may not be applicable on certain deals.
  • The coupon will not work if the Shopping Cart Value is less than the value required for the coupon to be applicable. For example - if the coupon is be valid only for purchases above Rs. 1000, then in such a case the coupon will not be applicable for cart values less than Rs. 1000.
  • The coupon may be linked with a user account (or email) to which it was sent. Login to the correct user account for availing the coupon discount.

What is the Returns Policy of Shady Ideas?

At Shady Ideas, we understand how much you value your every purchase and for us a good customer experience is of utmost important. Hence, to fulfill our word, we are committed to making your shopping experience with us as delightful as possible.

Even after this if you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, don’t worry as we have an excellent Replacement / Exchange Policy. The process is pretty simple. All you need to do is raise a Replacement / Exchange request, within a period of (48 hours for 'Damaged & Defective' products & 15 days for 'Not as Described' from the date of delivery) following the below steps:

  • Log on to 'My Account'
  • Go to 'Orders' in 'My Account'
  • Click on "Return" for the item you wish to replace or exchange.
  • Select a reason for the same.
  • Upload supporting photographs of item and hit 'Submit Request'.
  • Our Customer Service Executive will call you within 48 Hours after you have initiated the request

At Shady Ideas, we assure you that all products are checked properly before shipping them but even then if the product you receive is “Damaged, Defective, or Not as Described”, our friendly Replacement / Exchange policy will solve your problem.

The possible solutions covered in Replacement / Exchange policy are:

Replacement / Exchange:- If the product is damaged, in defective condition or it was not as described, you may request a replacement for that product. Ideally in replacement, we do a pickup of the product which is (Damaged, Defective, or Not as described) from the customer’s place in an unused/undamaged condition with all tags, bills and original packaging intact. We provide replacement of the product once we have received the product which was either “Damaged, Defective, or Not as described” and we have done a quality check on the same (for damaged and defective items).

Replacement is subject to availability of the product. If the product is out of stock you will receive a “Shady Ideas Credit Voucher” of the product amount paid while purchasing.

When are returns not possible?

Returnsare not possible in the following scenarios.

At Shady Ideas, we try our level best to give you the best customer service experience but even though there are certain scenarios where it will be difficult to support returns. The scenarios are as below:

  • If the return request is made after the specified time frame (48 hours for 'Damaged & Defective' products & 15 days for 'Not as Described' from the date of delivery).
  • Anything missing from the package like the price tag, accessories, labels, original packing, etc.
  • Product is damaged due to misuse, physical damage done by human error, etc.
  • Any customer had requested and placed an order for Customized product, than replacement will not be done unless the product is received in a Damaged or Defective condition.

Is there a refund facility available?

There is no refund facility available.

Do I need to pay Shipping Charges for purchases on Shady Ideas?

There are absolutely no shipping charges for orders placed site wide.

I just received an email with a tracking number but I am not able to track the order on the courier website. What should I do?

Shady Ideas generates and sends the tracking number [AWB Number] as soon as the courier partners pick up the package. However, the courier partners may take 24 to 48 hours to update the tracking details on their website and hence, your order may not be tracked during this period.

Why is the product not available for shipping in my Pin Code?

The product may not be available for shipping in your Pin Code because of state regulatory issues, legal restrictions or any other compliance related reason such as non-availability of a reliable shipping partner for your location.

How do I track my order after it is dispatched by Shady Ideas?

Once your order is shipped you will get an email and an SMS with details of the Air Way Bill Number (AWB). You can track the shipment by clicking on the link provided in the email.

You may also, track your order by visiting and clicking on "Track your Order" link from the top menu bar. On the Track your Order page, enter your order number and your registered mobile number under the 'Track Your Package' section.
